The Echoes Project – Polish Tribute to Pink Floyd will perform material presenting the albums The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its release.
To mark this occasion, the band has prepared new animations and visualizations that perfectly match the rhythm and atmosphere of Pink Floyd’s music, while also adding a touch of freshness.
The Echoes Project is a band dedicated to performing the music of the legendary group Pink Floyd. Its goal and ambition are to faithfully recreate the music, sound, and atmosphere known from Pink Floyd’s work. The popularity of Pink Floyd’s music is so great that their songs are performed very frequently. However, many artists treat them merely as standards—a starting point for their own creative explorations, not always successful.
The Echoes Project takes a different approach. Their aim is to play Pink Floyd’s music as closely as possible to the way Pink Floyd themselves performed it live at the time the songs were created. These versions are sometimes technically different from the studio recordings, but are unique in character and instantly recognizable to any devoted Pink Floyd fan.
The guitarists of The Echoes Project rely on analog equipment closely resembling the gear still used today by David Gilmour and Roger Waters. You can hear the unmistakable sound of analog Hiwatt amplifiers, which further enhances the overall experience!
