On 8 April 2027 at 7:00 PM, the audience at the Cultural Centre Theatre will have the opportunity to experience a truly exceptional concert dedicated to fans of Pink Floyd’s music.

The Echoes Project – Polish Tribute to Pink Floyd will present a programme based primarily on the legendary album Animals, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of its release in 2027. To mark this special occasion, the band has prepared brand-new animations and visual projections created exclusively for this tour, perfectly complementing the music and enhancing the atmosphere of the performance. In addition, the audience will also hear songs from such iconic albums as The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.

The Echoes Project is a band devoted to performing the music of the legendary group Pink Floyd. Its mission and ambition are to faithfully recreate the music, sound, and atmosphere for which Pink Floyd became famous. The popularity of Pink Floyd’s music is so immense that their songs are performed extremely frequently. However, many artists treat them merely as standards and a starting point for their own artistic explorations, which are not always successful.

The Echoes Project takes a different approach. The band’s goal is to perform Pink Floyd’s music as closely as possible to the way Pink Floyd themselves played these songs live at the time they were originally created. These versions sometimes differ from the studio recordings due to technical considerations, yet they retain their unique atmosphere and instantly recognisable character that every devoted Pink Floyd fan will appreciate.

The guitarists of The Echoes Project perform using analogue equipment closely matching that used by David Gilmour and Roger Waters to this day. As a result, audiences can experience the authentic sound of analogue Hiwatt amplifiers and dozens of guitar effects that have become part of the classic Gilmour tone, including effects such as the Big Muff, Electric Mistress, and Coloursound Power Boost.

Among the extensive collection of Floyd-inspired equipment used on stage, concertgoers will be able to see and hear instruments such as the pedal steel guitar and a Leslie rotating speaker cabinet in action. By attending this performance, you will have the rare opportunity to witness how these iconic sounds are created live in much the same way as David Gilmour himself produces them.

Unlike many contemporary tribute acts, the guitarists of The Echoes Project do not rely on modern digital simulations of Gilmour’s sound, which merely imitate this legendary tone. Instead, they recreate it using authentic analogue equipment and techniques, offering audiences a truly genuine Pink Floyd experience.
