Following the success of their previous projects, “The Wall Show” and “Dark Side of the Moon & Wish You Were Here,” The Echoes Project has prepared another musical journey dedicated to the music of Pink Floyd. This time, the band focuses on the repertoire of the 1970s, aiming to recreate as faithfully as possible not only the sound of the original songs, but also the character and atmosphere of Pink Floyd’s live performances from that era.
The Echoes Project places great emphasis on authenticity. The musicians use equipment, including guitars, effects and amplifiers, that closely resembles the gear used by the members of Pink Floyd during their concert tours in the 1970s. As a result, the performances are not merely modern interpretations of well-known compositions, but an attempt to recreate their original live character – not always identical to the studio recordings, yet instantly recognizable to fans of the band.
The music is accompanied by brand-new animations and visualizations that complement the performances and create an atmosphere characteristic of the world of Pink Floyd.
“PINK FLOYD 1970s” is an invitation to experience some of the most iconic compositions from one of Pink Floyd’s most creative decades, performed by a band dedicated to faithfully recreating their music, sound and atmosphere.
